Holy Carp Sketchdump

Welp, been ages since I uploaded anything on this site. Mainly because I haven't had a working scanner for a yearish now, and haven't had a need or want to fully finish anything in color, just lots and lots of sketches.

So I submit, as probably the last thing I'll put up on this site in a long time, a ginormous list of various sketches, in various stages of finished-ness.
Most everything I draw is done on those tiny 4"x6" 80lb paper pads you can buy at most art stores, as most of these are done at work or while lounging around without full art supplies on me. As such, you'll notice several instances of feet being cut off or missing. This is because I am a bad judge of space, and I start at the head and work down. Plus feet are boring anyway.
Also, in no particular order, these sketches contain content from up to two years ago.

1. "Green Gil", Halfling Wizard/Druid.
Character I played in a random D&D game on campus, a run of a premade module called "Age of Worms." Not pictured is the wolfhound he was always riding on.

2. Aeri Nottolone - future tense.
Anyone remember Magical School from back in mayhem?
AM and I tossed around theories about what our characters would have been in a future timeline, since some previous arc before we joined involved the characters meeting their future selves. I've since used Aeri-age-27 here as a dimension hopper. Gonna toss him in the Bar for a bit...

3. "Quote" Riverbrook - flesh golem water-mage.
Theoretical character for a LARP my friend is trying to get me into. He's an interesting character, but I'm too lazy to post the whole backstory here.

4. Kaerizaki, Demon Buster.
Of all things, my character in Shin Megami Tensei: IMAGINE. Gunner and Gunsmith, usually accompanied by a Cerberus or... something else. I forgot his other usual demon companions. Not pictured - lots of guns, and his COMP.
Theoretically, this is also a possible future Dystopia Rising LARP character. Who knows.

5. Dr. Marl D. Lee.
Martial artist, doctor, and eater of the Kitsu-Kitsu Fruit. If you haven't already guessed, this is a theoretical male version of Marlee, as used in a One Piece BESM game. Using a martial art style based on surgery and acupuncture. Augmented by a Zoan fruit that granted claws...

6. Quinn
Just a random halfling/kender character I use in various RPs. No, I don't know why one his hoopak looks like a monk's spade. It seemed like a cool idea at the time.

7. Garlyle DiMedius, Ranger and Priest of Larani.
Friend of mine on campus a year or so ago ran a game in the Harnmaster P&P system. And seeing that the flail weapon class involved a weapon that basically was nunchucks, I had a field day with my not-a-paladin. Officially he was a hunter and priest of the paladin/chivalry god. It was entertaining.

8. Roan Sato-ao / "Roan Rune"
My version of Roan for a D&D game I played in on ToLdnd, called Duality. A warlock with shadowy wings and a gun and being adorably terrifying. A pity the game exploded due to player raeg towards the end.

9. Drayco Einaska.
A -male- Gria from a FF Tactics chat RP I ran with Atashi, to play off his own Gria character, Lapis. He's angry and angsty and yes that is the buster sword. It's final fantasy, I'm allowed to be as dumb and unoriginal as I feel like with my silly characters, and you can't tell me otherwise.

10. DraycoRunir, Asura
Version of Drayco as a DFO Asura, before I got annoyed at all of the Slayer classes being boring as hell.

11. Hinote, SeeD.
Atashi's character Hinote as she appeared in a short-lived SeeD RP on Mayhem. A kick-based martial artist using BLADED SANDALS.
Awesome.
She reminds me of Chie from Persona 4 for some reason, doubly so since most of her outfit was green.

12. Jinn So'redo.
A Shi'ido Force Adept from a Star Wars p&p game a friend of mine ran. A grumpy old shapeshifter with amnesia and force powers. And more frequently used - a stun rod. Who needs force push when you can smack someone upside the head with 5 pounds of metal and zappy?

13. Don Murray.
An electric eel fish-man who didn't get used in the One Piece besm game I mentioned earlier. This drawing is very quick, and I'm aware it looks oddly proportioned. One Piece chars are hard to draw. D:

14. AeriSunset, Troll Mechanic?
My Mechanic on DFO ended up dressed and looking like a Troll from MSPA, albeit in a silly vampire outfit too. So I made it come full circle and drew him actually as a Troll.
Yes, his glasses are supposed to look like Equius'. He is a mechanic, after all...

15. Ash
I... -think- I made this version of Ash as either a remake of his DFO monk version or an idea for a Persona RP, since I know I had a reason for the "XXII" stitches on his pants (22 = Fool Arcana). Also he's a wrestler. And he's wearing an outfit made of DFO avatars.
*shrug* I like how it came out.

16. "A/eri"
An idea I've been tossing around on Mayhem. Formerly a catkin or human soldier of Gal-Zabor, then killed in battle and raised as a yogamancy undead drone.
Then poisoned by a forced march into the chaotic Wastes, slowly mutating his arm.
Then attacked by a priest from another world who used Turn Undead and set him on holy-fire, which somehow brought him back to life afterwards.
THEN he mutated further because of the chaos into a Lynxkin. AND turning his gun into something out of God(s) Eater, to match the arm.

Sometimes, life's just a bitch.

17. Barakizel Vorasvim, Dragonkith of Nimbrixian.
A katana-wielding, iaido-using, ice-breathing silver dragonwrought kobold, also known as "Bari" or "Hang on, I need to roll to see how many damage dice I throw at him".
Man I infuriated people with this guy. I still love him though, and to date he's one of my more fun characters to play in a D&D game, despite the game eventually dying due to one player decided to be an asshole to everyone involved.
This one's actually a full page of bristol in an older pad from back then, and I personally like it. This one was actually going to be colored (the slash-trail distortion on his legs was done in photoshop), but I lost interest when the game died. So if nothing else, cool sketch.
