INHUMAN OC ENTRY

Name: Tallik Narr
Age: 26
Species: Rakwulf
Sex: Male

Backstory: Tallik doesn't consider it as such, but he had a tough life growing up. His parents were traveling merchants as part of an interstellar courier chain, them in particular dealing with medical supplies. He traveled with them (often to multiple places on each planet), but because of it he never really had a chance to settle anywhere, so much of his early life was spent with the only company he had on the ship - paper and a pencil. Tallik spent a lot of time drawing while he sat around the ship. Luckily Tallik picked up a basic education along the way, being around merchants and lots and LOTS of box labels. He pretty much taught himself to read.
After he hit his early teens, however, there was a rather jarring change of circumstances. He was particularly stressed after a minor argument with his parents, and stowed away off the ship until after it left, stranding himself on the lovely planet of Hekshano. This turned out to be a turn of luck, as the particular courier ship was destroyed in orbit - whether by a system malfunction or by being in the wrong place at the wrong time relative to a military ship, he doesn't know. He never found out, but he's moved on... mostly.
Since then, he's been a street kid, his skill at fleeing and hiding around the cargo areas of the ship turning into him taking up unintentional parkour. And during one particular incident of fleeing from the authorities with a mouthful of freshly stolen lunch, he ended up racing and getting into a fight with a hekshano named Marcus, a man in his mid-20's at the time.
Marcus owned a small clinic he inherited from his parents, and has taken to making it somewhat of a safe haven for kids on the street who have nowhere else to go. He gives the kids a job running errands, and feeds them rather than paying. Tallik, now in the end of his teens, struck a deal with Marcus. Tallik knew more about medicine than Marcus did, Marcus more knew the hands-on medical stuff. So Marcus ended up getting Tallik working there full time, and over time the Rakwulf picked up other medical stuff he needed to know. Marcus and Tallik pretty much co-own the place at this point, and somehow the little clinic manages to scrape by. Marcus still does most of the work, though, Tallik spends half his day parkour-ing around town... his excuse is that he's looking for other kids in need of help, but mostly he's just enjoying the wind in his fur.

Physical/Appearance Notes: Tallik stands at 5'9", and he's pretty athletic from how he lives, though he's got a little pudginess on his gut there. His coloration is basically remniscient of a husky, though as he's never been in much of a winter climate, it's just coloration. In addition, he has heterochromia - his left eye is green, his right eye is brown. Last, he has a scar across his muzzle... though at this point it's just a spot where the fur doesn't grow, since it's years old from some time he mistimed some jump and went facefirst into a weak metal wall.

Personality/Other Notes: Tallik speaks in FLUENT slang. If he manages to get through a sentence in casual conversation with grammar intact, something's up. He still CAN speak properly, and he doesn't have a problem with it, but he clearly grew up without formal education and it shows. Despite this, he still can pronounce any long scientific medical name without missing a syllable, so it's more a lack of culture rather than intelligence.
