Description

Hey look it's a costume design! Pardon the roughness, this is mostly a series of colored concept sketches. ^^;

Also, consider this the "Costume" bio.

Important Points:
- Most (read as "everything but his hairband and t-shirt") of Ky's "Marvel" outfit is made of materials Jodi found and imporved that change color when a specific electric current is run through them. Ky normally wears a red t-shirt, normal camou pants, the black boots, and the brown jacket (the Marvel lightning bolt and red circle logo aren't normally on it).
When the current goes through, the pants change to the reddish camou, the boots turn gold, and the jacket turns white and gold and his "Marvel" insignia appears on the back.
- The helmet shrinks down into what passes for a futuristic headset mp3 player. It actually holds the comm system, as well as the visor's tech. The gloves are normally just brown gloves with steel tips, easily kept in a pocket or backpack with the headset. When he touches them to the sides of the headset and activates the charge, the helmet folds out into place, and the specific current runs through him. This would electrocute a normal person, however Ky is immune to it, hence why it's useful.

Specific Details:

Helmet
The helmet mostly just protect's Ky's head (regeneration aside, head injuries is still bad, even if not permanent) and houses the comm system he uses to talk with Jodi. Besides that, it has a couple simple gadgets built in.
- Shaded visor that adjusts to light, including night-vision view, meaning Ky can see in total darkness or any light. It doesn't adjust to rapid changes in light, so a flash bomb will still blind him.
- Comm system allows internal and external sight and sound communications, meaning Jodi can see and hear what Ky sees and hears. Ky whispering can be heard clearly to her, since he speaks into his cheek a bit. Comm system aside, there are only minor improvements to Ky's sight or hearing through the visor besides the vision adjuster, so it's not much different than if he didn't have the helmet.
- Security system releases an electric shock if anyone attempts to remove the helmet, unless they're wearing the matching gloves. It's enough to knock out a normal human, but again, Ky's immune.

Gloves and Jacket
- Gloves can be charged with electricity, equivalent to a strong tazer if anyone touches them, or Ky touches/punches/grabs them. If the hands are brought together, Ky can fire off a powerful electrical bolt, on par with weapons-grade lightning weapons (meaning most computerized systems will get fried). One bolt will temporarily drain the glove's charge, and it takes several minutes for them to recharge for any electrical stuff again.
- The red material-covered panel on the right wrist of the gloves houses the backup controls for the boots, including the one to switch from hovering to magnetics.
- The jacket and most of the rest of the outfit is made of the special current-sensitive material, and is quite durable, though not armored. Most laser fire doesn't burn it, and it's resistant to normal cuts and slices, but bullets and any blade better than a standard knife will cut it. Luckily, the material's current sensitivity doesn't break even if the material is damaged.

Boots
- Retrofitted Tube Hockey boots for street use, allowing for hovering over any mostly flat surface, including most liquids and even vertical surfaces. There isn't any visual cue to it, so it just appears to be flying. As the effect is based on advanced electromagnetism to an extent, in an area containing lots of metal, it can do more than just hover. This is most important in Gotham's skyscraper-filled landscape, where it allows Ky to easily hover a long distance to jump between buildings. In addition, Jodi has modified it to be able to "reverse polarity" using the wrist control, which allows him to magnetize his feet to any surface, for traction.
